GENERAL
DO I NEED TO WORK WITH A DESIGNER OR ARCHITECT?
We have an experienced team of designers that are available to help you. It is not necessary to have a designer or architect.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING WHEN I VISIT THE SHOWROOM?
Bring your style, general measurements of area for tile and an idea of your budget.
DO I NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
Appointments are not necessary but are strongly encouraged. This allows us to prepare in advance for your particular project and assure that a designer is available to work with you when you arrive.
CAN I CUSTOMIZE MY DESIGN AND COLOR?
We have a large selection of materials and colors to work with to make your project unique. We are able to create one of a kind mosaics and can often customize a color or tile shape. Grout colors can also be customized.
DOES STS HANDLE THE INSTALLATION OF MY PROJECT?
STS does not handle the actual installation of projects. We have long term relationships with professional installers and can suggest one that is best suited to your project. Your STS designer will be on hand for the installation to ensure that you are pleased with the final result.
HOW LONG DOES A PROJECT USUALLY TAKE?
Time varies depending on what items are purchased. Availability, quantities, manufacturing, shipping distance, etc. will affect the estimated delivery of your new tile.
WHERE CAN I PICK UP MY TILE?
We can ship your tile to any location you like! Whether it is straight to your home or if you rather pick it up from STS, we have different options to suit your needs.
HOW DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENT? DO I NEED TO PAY IN ADVANCE?
We request a 50% deposit when ordering. We accept check or credit card (must be present to charge the credit card).
CAN ITEMS BE RETURNED FOR CREDIT IF I CHANGE MY MIND?
Most of our vendors do not accept returns. Vendors that do accept returns require a 30% - 50% restocking fee.
MATERIALS
DO I NEED TO SEAL NATURAL STONE?
Yes, stone should be sealed during installation.
DO I NEED TO SEAL GLASS?
Glass does not need to be sealed but natural stone components and grout should be sealed to prevent staining and prolong product life.
